What is your WHY for being in business?

To bring clarity to, and reduce overwhelm for, every small business owner in Australia.

Share a unique business challenge you have experienced and how you overcame this?

Prior to Covid-19 my team and I were mostly working directly with shopping centre clients as a marketing consultancy.  However when the pandemic hit, the majority of these clients either took their marketing in-house or stopped their marketing altogether.

We had to take stock and decide how we were going to continue to bring in revenue until when, or if, the shopping centre clients came back.

At the time we had a couple of tradie clients, who were friends of friends, and as we enjoyed working with them it was decided we would pivot and try to market our services towards this niche.  Over the period March to November we have managed to attract 15 tradie clients and explored many different marketing strategies that we never thought we would be working on at the beginning of the year.

It’s amazing what you can do as a business to pivot when your back is up against the wall!  My team have been amazing and joined me on this rollercoaster of a year.  Each of them growing with new experiences they wouldn’t of had otherwise!

What’s got you “edge of your seat” excited in your biz right now?

Since pivoting our offer back in March, we have been growing our niche and looking at what offerings we can bring to all small business owners looking to gain clarity in their marketing message.

As such, we have launched our ‘Magnify Your Marketing’ service offering, allowing a deep dive into your vision, mission and values, followed up with getting you clear on your offering and who your perfect trible of customers is.

What is your favourite biz resource at the moment?

At the moment I am loving Audible and the way it allows me to read all my favourite business books whilst doing simple things like cleaning up or walking the dog.

I feel like I’m making the most of every moment this way and learning new things in the process.
